EVV Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Respite Administrative Assistant

Pay Range: $24.00-$25.00 PER HR

Reporting To: Respite Manager

Work Type: Onsite

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Respite Administrative Assistant is responsible for handling all Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) training, troubleshooting and other projects pertaining to the EVV system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Graduate or G.E.D.
  2. Previous medical background experience is preferred
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Self-directed and able to read, write, and is fluent in English.
  5. Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred.
  6. Ability to deal tactfully with patients, co-workers and visitors.
  7. Flexible and cooperative.
  8. Good organizational skills.
  9. Proficient with Word and Excel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will make reasonable accommodations to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  1. Trains new employees and existing employees with continuing issues on how to use the EVV system.
  2. Inputs all new clients into the company EMR system.
  3. Be the main contact for all employees with EVV questions, follow up with employees who are not using the EVV system properly.
  4. Contacts employees who are in progress in the company EMR system due to missing punches to resolve timekeeping conflicts or errors.
  5. Inputs all schedules for Regional center clients into the company EMR system.
  6. Contact employees and clients of authorizations expiring/ending and of authorization hours that have exceeded the approved amount listed on the clients authorization form.
  7. Helps filter the Respite Department calls as needed.
  8. Back up to Respite Staffing and Respite Coordinator.
  9. Conducts timely recording and/or documentation of client contact.
  10. Sends out welcome letters to all new clients.
  11. Attends Department meetings (in person, by phone or on the web).
  12. Attends all State mandated in service training.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis, up to 75% of the time.
  • Close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required up to 25lbs.
