Onboarding Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Onboarding Specialist

Pay Range: $24.00-$27.00 PER HR

Reporting To: HR Manager

Work Type: On-site

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring the timely hiring and onboarding of all employees. You will work directly with the Managers and other members of the HR team to make sure that all the new employees are up and ready to go on their first day of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 3+ years experience in an administrative role.
  2. Knowledge of various employment and hiring laws and practices
  3. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and other technology tools
  4. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and ensure follow-through.
  5. Must be comfortable performing warm and cold calls.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  7. Excellent customer service skills required.
  8. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will provide reasonable accommodation to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  1. Administer pre-employment paperwork & extend conditional offers of employment.
  2. Verify Candidate eligibility such as credentialing and licensing.
  3. Confirming references on all employees.
  4. Inputting employees into all the various systems throughout the organization (ie. ADP, Kantime, MyUnity etc).
  5. Maintaining the referral bonus program.
  6. Conduction Orientation calls
  7. Sending out equipment.
  8. Promote our employer brand online and offline.
  9. Accurately maintain workflows in our applicant tracking system
  10. Works with department managers and leads to gather and understand position requirements and skills needed for each position within the department.
  11. Conducts follow up calls with new employees to see how they are doing after three weeks and three months.
  12. Back up to the Recruiter, HR Assistant Admin and Receptionist.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).
  • Close vision requirements due to computer work on a frequent basis.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required (not more than 20lbs).
