Engagement Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Engagement Coordinator

Pay Range: $25-$28 PER HR

Reporting To: VP of Human Resources

Work Type: Onsite

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for creating a positive, engaging workplace by coordinating company-wide team-building events, office luncheons, and celebrations throughout the year, while also supporting essential HR administrative and internal communication functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Comfortable working with budgets, vendors and schedules.
  5. Familiarity with employment practices and HR compliance basics.
  6. Experience creating internal communications or newsletters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will provide reasonable accommodation to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  1. Plan, coordinate and execute company wide and team level building events throughout the year both in person and virtually.
  2. Organize monthly office luncheons, holiday parties, celebrations and special events.
  3. Manage event logistics including venues, catering, vendors, budgets and schedules.
  4. Partner with managers and leadership to align events with company culture and engagement goals.
  5. Gather feedback after events to continuously improve employee experience initiatives.
  6. Draft, coordinate and distribute companywide communications related to HR initiatives, events and announcements.
  7. Create, manage and publish monthly company newsletter, including content planning editing and coordination with management.
  8. Support employee recognition programs and milestone celebrations.
  9. Help to maintain a structured employee recognition program.
  10. Track participation, nominations, and recognition metrics to ensure fairness and consistency.
  11. Collaborate with HR leadership on engagement surveys and follow up actions related to recognition and culture.
  12. Support the HR team as needed with administration tasks.
  13. Maintains comfortable work environment for all employees.
  14. Maintains proper timekeeping.
  15. Some travel may be required.
  16. Follows policies and procedures as per Employee Handbook.
  17. Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 60% of the time).
  • Driving is required 40% of the time
  • Close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
